Sean & Greg

Sean & Greg is an electro pop band created by two lifetimes devoted to music and fueled by the energy of two best friends. Sean Bennett “Sean” and Greg Malek-Jones “Greg met while attending New York City’s renowned, Professional Performing Arts School in the heart of Manhattan. From that inspiring start, their musical vision now launches them into the recording world.

Seans immense passion for dance, demonstrated since the age of three, brought him to the Alvin Ailey Junior Dance Company. He taught his very own dance class at the age of 13 at Manhattans Mid-Town West Elementary School, having Frank Hatchett as his mentor. Famed Broadway vocal coaches, Adam Roebuck and Linda Rose helped Sean develop his vocals into his own unique sound. He is currently taking vocal instruction from Boris Buriev, coach to the stars. Bennett is also a very talented songwriter, with proven skills in mixing a track and building a song. Sean’s home is on stage and being able to perform, not only for the love of music, but also because its who he is.

Greg also is no stranger to the professional dance world. Training at the world renowned, School of American Ballet for eight years, he performed in numerous productions with the New York City Ballet. He danced the title role in The Nutcracker, and performed ensemble roles for Sleeping Beauty, Harlequinade, Swan Lake and Vienna Waltzes. Malek-Jones’s vocal credits include singing backup for Margaret Ann-Gates on her album, performing with Joey Lawrence (Dancing With the Stars) in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and recording the original track to the theme song You Came Into My Life for the film Only Perfect. Malek-Jones musical mentorship comes from International Opera Star, Arthur Woodley. He is currently taking vocal instruction from George Spitzer of Montclair, NJ.

Sean & Greg now deliver their electro pop talent, devoted to sharing their message through rhythms from their hearts with lyrics from their souls. Their new single “The Invasion” which was produced by Peter Litvin (Eminem, Kid Rock), is a great track featuring their skill of dance, vocals and choreography all in one.

Sean & Greg are currently in meeting’s and are in studio working on upcoming releases.

Like so many recent entertainers (I use that term loosely, like Mr Hocks post jail asshole) Caseyface made the jump to Blogtv. Apart from her camwhorary I never really saw her appeal, but now people my mind may have changed. To be fair, she isn’t the star or entertainer of this clip; an internal windypop decided to make its bid for freedom and in the process become the true star of the show…..

A new star is released into the world

Let there be wind…..

Johnny Boy was live this week on BlogTV. It made me realize that maybe all the bitching and whining on MyDrama isn’t in vain. People miss the old Stickam, where Entertainers were entertaining and the best shows were promoted across the whole site.

Stickam Entertainers were the website’s icons and the chain that held the community together. That community is gone.

With so much less entertainment, it is only normal that the whole world concentrates on the bad things that happen on the site. (Kinda like your lazy uncle that the whole family notices when he says something stupid at dinner, because he does nothing good … EVER!)

First Stickam lost Matthew Lush, Bisante, Buck Hollywood, Mitchel Davis and now … Caseybabyface and JohnnyBoy. Is BlogTV the place where kids can now find true entertainment and freedom without feeling unappreciated?

The reason why I write this post is simple. I want us all to be able to help Stickam to be better. Traffic isn’t a sign of a better site, COMMUNITY is and at this moment no one is cares.

Stickam used to be this friend everyone would take a bullet for. But now, if Stickam got shot, everyone would let it bleed to death in the sidewalk. Some would even point and laugh!

So if you miss the old Stickam and have ideas, answer this question (Stickam employees read this blog – otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten a C&D letter from them).

What would you do to make Stickam better? FEATURES and/or ACTIONS.

Love+Poison,
Anthony Vanity

Where Are the Entertainers?

The most recent post on Israeli-based BlogTV blog explains the new opening of BlogTV Junior!  Anyone who has been using or following BlogTV knows that they have been fighting the war on young webcamers for some time now — allowing only 16+ to broadcast.  They have taken their tactics straight from G.W. Bush’s War on Terror and have had to flail away aimlessly in every direction with their mod rods doin the ole’ ban ban ban!

The new policies:

  1. Junior members will only be able to broadcast to other Junior members
  2. Junior members will only be able to view other Junior members
  3. Junior members will not have guest chat available
  4. Junior members will not be able to co-host or be co-hosted
  5. Junior members will not have private message options
  6. Junior members will not be able to change their ages to put them into regular member status
  7. Regular members will not be able to change their ages to put them into the Junior member status

The pervert fighter, community manager and BlogTV figure-head Kara Hannah, started her war on young cammers and decided to use her machete where a scalpel was appropriate.  Yes, the same Kara Hannah who enjoys sitting on cam and talking about tits, cock and ass:

Kara changed the policy so that no one under the age of 16 was allowed to broadcast – The utter failure of this policy has been documented over and over……and over ad infinitum.  They tell young people they cannot broadcast and then frequently elevate young broadcasters to the front page of BlogTV for hours.

The dissent against this new policy has come from both sides – Adults and young.  People over at BlogTVdrama polled against it – and have started a petition to abandon it.  Essentially the arguments against it are that this does not target the actual problem and negatively affects everyone.  Some older broadcasters have lost large portions of their audience.

Underage people are upset that they can only broadcast to other underage people and that they cannot watch broadcasts of non Junior members.  Junior members are finding its probably more fun now just not even logging in — Like BlogTV user ItsJohnnyPotter. (youtube)  Just don’t try to view his profile though… you may get cut by the barbed wire:

His opinion is also clear –  its ‘the dumbest thing you’ve ever done.

Of course this has upset the many BlogTV perverts and lurkers.  Even Stickam’s own hazing committee which we know as ROUTER when contacted for comment clearly stated this was ‘not a good idea’.  On the up-side we have heard that many BlogTV perverts are rejoicing as this now allows them to infiltrate and quarantine themselves with the young users.  Now with the new policies the regular folks who would rudely interfere and report their improper contact are no longer able to even see the profiles of the targets.

It is not likely we will see the same type of drastic moves by LA-based Stickam or San Francisco-based Justin.tv.  Justin.tv allows users as young as 13 and Stickam allows as young as 14.  They already have more privacy and safety features in place which young users can utilize if they so choose which restrict entry to rooms or contact with individuals.  On Stickam and Justin.tv the young can still view other lives and have their lives viewed while broadcasting safely – as is the point of going live…to be seen.  Plus as Stickam well knows — more viewer’s eyes equals more flagging if indeed something offensive does happen (Unless its in Stickydrama chatroom where flagging is strictly prohibited).

We would like to commend and thank BlogTV for yet another dumbass move.  Keep up the great work!  Btw… whats up with JustinTV’s HUGE worldwide audience?!

BlogTV Continues War On Young Cammers

Bisante’s online life was utterly pillaged this evening.  No permanent damage was intended on Bisante’s accounts except his myspace which was permanently deleted.  He has re-opened a new myspace on his old URL.

The events began after his live ended on BlogTV today in his lullzy shirt.  The invasion was low-key till they went into his Stickam.  They went live on his account, which has been dormant for some time and broadcast a video of a girl shooting a banana out of her ass.  It made us lul.

The CFL has been anonymously given a folder of 200+ screen caps and goodies.  We were in contact with the pillagers and made deals to allow Bisante to reclaim both his Youtube and main hotmail accounts.  They gave the accounts back to Bisante only when he gave us his word on Skype that he would leave BlogTV –  where he went after angrily leaving Stickam.  He has deleted his account to the scum sucking website.  Soon thereafter he was given back the accounts and the torment ended quite peacefully.  The deal also entails that if he does go on cam anywhere it has to be on his Stickam.  We fully understand that Bisante has plenty of haters – but he has always had a special place in our heart.  In our opinion it will be nice to have him back around Stickam.

Bisante’s Accounts Pillaged… Leaves BlogTV

Its time once again for another quick, serious look into whats happening around the interwebs.  BlogTV officially announced this Wednesday on their community blog that they will be paying 50% of video ad revenues to their entertainers who are approved for their ‘Ad revenue share program‘.  This cleared up the many rumors of monetary offers behind the scenes by the Israel based BlogTV admin.  Specifically the dark dealings of the big BlogTV overlord herself, Kara Hannah:

The same BlogTV overlord who whined recently about BlogTV running out of money and repeatedly denied the accusations of paying entertainers before Buckley ’spilled the beans’ about the bucks.  ‘What the Buck‘ host Michael Buckley appeared on CNN sharing his insight and smiling ear to ear about the fact he is raking in $100,000 a year from his YouTube alone.  Click to watch the CNN interview:

Interestingly, Buckley goes on CNN and the very next day BlogTV comes out with this ad revenue program.  Buckley laid the smack down on starry eyed young video makers who think they can make easy money — he explains its wasn’t easy at all.  Something only a very talented homo could do with his spare time.  In addition to his YouTube, he is making ad revenue from his BlogTV appearances; both live and recorded.  He joined BlogTV as he says: “because they made me the best offer of any of the live-streaming sites and my viewers really enjoy it over there.”

Will trends like this prompt Stickam to up-their-game, abandon their current policies and begin forming a partnership program like YouTube and now BlogTV?  Perhaps, but don’t be quick to assume.  As similar as the sites are, they are just as different.  Whereas BlogTV focuses more on single entertainers, Stickam does that and ten times more.  BlogTV has shown growth but its difficult to guess how long this trend will last, if at all.

Stickam has been busy spearheading other innovative things which could spike their growth like stickam mobile, pay per live, the just released API.  Perhaps they have more in the works to attract and compensate entertainers.  Either way, those at Stickam HQ are surely rooting for Iranin President’s plan to ‘wipe Israel off the map‘ quickly solving their BlogTV issues.  lol.

BIG bucks for ‘What the Buck’

We figured Hock would be banned from Blog TV in a month, but about approximately 9:00 AM EST today, the news came in.  HOCK IS GONE FROM BLOG TV!

It took the Rapist a week of drunkenness and preaching against Jews and buttpirates to get himself banned from yet another broadcasting site.

The Rapist replied to the site’s decision the only way he knows how:  with a bulletin, to all his underage girlfriends on Myspace.

Asking people to call Blog TV—as if they give a flying fuck. The number posted in Hock’s bulletin is in fact NOT Blog TV headquarters, but from a Stickam user who lives in Canada, whose parents contacted the local police and pressed charges against the Rapist this morning.  Posting private numbers on Myspace is a violation of their TOS, and we can only hope he gets banned from there also.

Please Hock, if it gets too tough on the streets, and you can’t take losing your “Scene King” crown, make sure to get a hold of a Nokia phone and commit your suicide on Stickam Mobile. Your fans would appreciate it.

What’s next for Hock besides a corner on Hollywood Boulevard and a crack pipe?  Whatever it is, I’m sure we’ll post it here.

We would love to post his link at this spot, but since he has nothing anymore, we’ll link to a generic page.

John Hock

Love,
Anthony Vanity

Hock banned from Blog TV – THANK GOD FOR STICKAM MOBILE
